MSI RTX 3090 Ventus 3X Thermal Pad Replacement - Full and Unedited, (Guide/Results Video Check Desc)

Hey all, as you know I did a video on replacing the thermal pads for the MSI RTX 3090 Ventus 3X (   • RTX 3090 (and 3080) Owners! CHANGE Your St...  ), and it turned out to be more of a guide with a lot of edits on the actual 3090 thermal pad replacement footage. I had some users ask if I could upload the full video, so this is it right here. I recorded it without sound, so I put a music track over the top. This was the first time I did a thermal pad replacement, and that's why its 90 minutes long. Thermal Pads used - Thermalright Odyssey Thermal Pads (12.8w/mk) 80mm x 45mm x 2mm For RTX 3090 - you will need 2 packs to replace the front and back (1 for the front, 1 for the back) Chapters - 0:00 Warranty sticker removal 4:45 Backplate screw removal 14:30 Pulling off the fans and heatsink (and fan cables) 18:30 Pulling off thermal pads off heatsink, cleaning thermal paste off GPU 32:00 Taking off screws securing backplate and PCB and HDMI port guard 35:30 Taking off backplate and thermal pads off backplate 40:00 Measuring and cutting new thermal pads 1:02:40 Placing thermal pads on memory at the back 1:07:17 Placing backplate back and screwing it down again 1:09:37 Placing thermal pads on GPU side memory (front) 1:18:15 Placing Thermal paste on GPU 1:19:22 Placing heatsink fan back onto GPU reminder to attach fan cables 1:20:40 Screwing remaining screws to attach heatsink fan to fan again Reminder to check out my RTX 3090 MSI Ventus 3X thermal pad replacement video for full results (   • RTX 3090 (and 3080) Owners! CHANGE Your St...  ).
