Olive Oil Bread, how to make bread with frozen olive oil instead of butter

For more and your own Cooking for Dads Cookbook go to: http://www.cookingfordads.net cook well, Rob Barrett Olive OIl Bread Take 1/4 cup of olive oil, pour it into a small tupperware container and place in the freezer. In a large bowl combine 1 cup warm water, 1 spoonful yeast and a little sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy. Add: 1/4 cup warm milk 3 spoonfuls sugar and 1 spoonful salt. Stir to combine. Add 3 1/4 cups bread flour. Stir with a fork until combined into a ball. Cover with a paper towel and set aside for 4 to 5 hours. Take half of the frozen olive oil and cut in to small pieces. Return rest of it to freezer. Cover the dough with the pieces and fold it over until all the frozen pieces are covered. Let rise for another hour. Repeat. Let rise for one more hour. Preheat oven to 350º Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place dough in the middle and smooth out to form the shape desired. Scramble one egg and brush over dough. (Optional, sprinkle dough with garlic salt and parmesan cheese.) Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Enjoy plain, with butter or pesto. © 2010 Cooking for Dads
