🎙️ A lecture by Rashid Khalidi, Professor Emeritus, Edward Said Chair of Modern Arabic Studies at Columbia University. Moderated by Leila Seurat, political scientist at CAREP Paris. 📗 This event will focus on the book by Palestinian-American intellectual Rashid Khalidi, "One Hundred Years of War Against Palestine" (2020). Drawing on a strong Palestinian memory, the author offers a reinterpretation of Palestinian history over the long term, through the lens of the personal trajectories of members of his family, one of Jerusalem's most prominent. He highlights the dynamics of domination, but also the forms of resistance and political and cultural continuity mobilized by the Palestinian people. 🔎 Beyond the book, the discussion will open a broader exchange on the conditions of production and circulation of knowledge about Palestine today, both in the United States and in France.
