José Amalio Graterol, political secretary of Vente Venezuela and a human rights activist exiled in the United States for the past eight years, harshly criticized recent images of the U.S. chargé d'affaires in Venezuela, John Barrett, alongside Diosdado Cabello, the number two figure in the Venezuelan regime. Graterol described the situation as "incoherent," considering that Cabello has a $25 million reward offered for his capture by the U.S. Department of Justice. "The truth is, this image of a criminal like Diosdado Cabello, who has done so much harm to all Venezuelans, and who, besides being a criminal, is simply a corrupt individual who has looted Venezuela," he stated on NTN24's "La Noche" program.
