Was Sally Jackson A Bit TOO Real?

I did a rewatch of Percy Jackson recently as I’m really excited for the second season and it got me thinking a lot about the book to screen differences. Not the run of the mill differences like the humour or anything like that, but in particular regards to Sally Jackson. She’s quite different from her book counterpart, not to mention her relationship with Gabe and everything else. So I figured today would be a good time to delve into her character and see whether the shows changes were the right ones. Enjoy.
