The war begins! In Episode 1 of our Confederate General Coleman campaign in Grand Tactician: The Civil War, we start our military career as a Colonel commanding the 1st Division under Major General Leonidas Polk's Corps. With the nation divided and war breaking out across the South, General Coleman takes his first steps toward military greatness. The campaign gets off to a rough start as Confederate forces suffer defeat in the Battle of Nashville, forcing us to regroup and rethink our strategy. Much of the early war is spent waiting for opportunities, building experience, and proving ourselves worthy of greater responsibility. Despite the setbacks, promotions begin rolling in as Coleman climbs the ranks of the Confederate Army. The ultimate goal? Earn enough prestige and battlefield reputation to be offered command of a corps of our own.
