Man and Teen Slay 4 for $16 - The Horrific Crimes of John Myers and Donna Stone
In 1961 Illinois, 13-year-old Donna Marie Stone and her 32-year-old partner John Edwin Myers went on a cross-country crime spree that resulted in four murders. The pair abducted and killed several people, including a 39-year-old woman, a father and his 10-year-old daughter, and a hitchhiker, each shot in the head after being bound. They were arrested in Big Spring, Texas, following a highway patrolman’s recognition of their stolen car and confessed to the killings. Stone, due to her age, was initially not charged with murder in Texas and later pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter in Illinois; she was sentenced to the Illinois Youth Commission.
