He started as an operator at Radio Nacional, where he learned the craft through daily practice and careful observation of prominent figures in radio journalism. He gradually gained prominence in front of the microphone, first with discreet appearances and then as an announcer. This stage proved fundamental to his self-taught development and to cultivating a lasting love for radio. Later, Carlos Soliz established himself as an entertainment and celebrity news announcer, especially on FM stations, where he achieved popularity and recognition among young audiences. His fresh and approachable style made him a well-known voice in Cochabamba. However, his career took a significant turn when he was invited to work in television. At Canal 13, he took on the challenge of working as a news anchor, which profoundly transformed his worldview and his approach to communication.
