Why Does God Say Everything Belongs to Him? | Leviticus 27

Why Does God Say, "It Is Mine"? | Leviticus 27 Leviticus 27 may seem like a chapter about vows and valuations. But beneath these laws, God repeatedly declares one powerful truth: *"It is Mine."* People, houses, fields, livestock, and even the tithe ultimately belong to the Lord. The firstborn could not be dedicated by a special vow because they already belonged to God from birth. If someone wished to redeem something dedicated to the Lord, an additional payment had to be made. And what was wholly devoted to God could never be taken back. Leviticus closes with a profound reminder: Faith is not about giving God a small part of our lives. It is recognizing that our entire lives already belong to Him. This truth reaches its fulfillment in Jesus Christ. Through His sacrifice, He purchased us with His own blood. As the Apostle Paul writes: "You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body." — 1 Corinthians 6:19–20 May this study help you see the beautiful conclusion of Leviticus and encourage you to live each day as one who belongs completely to God. --- 📖 Scripture Leviticus 27 (World English Bible, adapted for narration with "the LORD" in place of the divine name.) 🎙 Narration & Commentary Global Bible Archive ▶ *Genesis → Exodus → Leviticus Series* If this video helped you understand God's Word, please consider subscribing and sharing it with others. *Soli Deo Gloria.* 📚 Leviticus Bible Meditation Playlist    • Leviticus Bible Meditation Series   📚 Genesis–Exodus Bible Meditation Playlist    • Genesis–Leviticus Bible Meditation Series   #Bible #Leviticus #Leviticus27 #BibleStudy #OldTestament #ChristianFaith #JesusChrist #BiblicalTheology #Faith #GlobalBibleArchive
