@maciekjkd Luckily, we arrived in time for a transfer to Dzierżoniów Śląski, where we'll spice up our trip to Jaworzyna by taking in the recently reactivated section to Bielawa Zachodnia. This was the point where the state railway met the legendary, private Owl Mountain Railway (Eulengebirgsbahn), built between 1897 and 1903. It once effectively traversed the Srebrnogórska Pass and led through Ścinawka Średnia to Radków. Miracles do happen; at the end of 2019, with the new timetable, the former state railway returned to passenger service after 42 years! With this year's June adjustment, starting next Sunday, the first short section of the Sowiogórska Railway returns to life towards Srebrna Góra (not counting the section to the "Gabra" mine in Nowa Ruda Słupiec on the other side of the pass) – Bielawa Góry Sowie!!! Additionally, news has broken about plans to rebuild the connection to Radków :-) So, I invite you for a short ride to Bielawa Zachodnia, ending with a D1 shield, and then we continue our journey to the Railway Museum in Jaworzyna, with a change at Świdnica Miasto station.
