@maciekjkd A lot has been happening on the railways in Poland lately, and it's sometimes hard to keep track – renovations are everywhere you go. To keep up with the latest developments, my friend Andrzej and I took a detour from Kraków to Bielawa Zachodnia. Along the way, it would be a sin not to document what's happening from Mysłowice station to Gliwice, because there are changes, changes, changes. Two months ago, I documented the south side, today it's time for the north! The first joyful moment was the locomotive shed in Mysłowice, which has been given a second life as a back-up facility for the Ecco Rail carrier – even the turntable is operational :-) So, I invite you to join me on a journey with a somewhat lengthy introduction, so I've included it below the table of contents to avoid boring you. Beyond Gliwice, admittedly, nothing has moved yet, until Kędzierzyn-Koźle. Along the way, you'll see a lot of fire damage between the rather poorly maintained firebreaks – they're practically begging for "mineralization."
