Nadejda was a bookstore manager, and her husband Valeriu was a school director. They had no suitable jobs when they returned to their home village with their three sons. They decided to move from books to plants. Nadejda and Valeriu Gori founded Gori's Tomatoes, now, twenty years later, one of the best-known nature-friendly vegetable producers in Moldova.
