KLR 650 - Cohutta Death March

Fantastic ride with the guys on June 14, 2026. The Cohutta Death March is an amazing track of forest service roads, dirt, gravel, and some mud through north Georgia, into Tennessee, and then back down to our starting point near Ellijay. We had an outstanding ride covering 122 miles with a few side tracks including one up Flat Top Mountain (where I dropped the bike going up and coming back down). I dropped the bike three times total, and the last one broke one of my fog lights. Bummer. But all of that happened in the first third of the trip. In all, we were on the bikes for about eight hours over some pretty challenging terrain in some parts, and rode through a downpour for the last 15 miles or so. But for 90 percent of the ride it was stunningly beautiful. Just a spectacular day to be out in the wilderness. Thanks to the biker gang for supporting this novice. We were all soaking wet and completely exhausted when we made it back just before dark. This video only covers about the first third of the trip.
