(Pt 1) Classic Corvette...STALLS When HOT? ('89 C4: PHAD Independence Day Special 2026)

For this year's edition of the PHAD Independence Day Special we have a very neat car to diagnose: a MINT 1989 Chevy Corvette C4...6-speed manual with only 35k miles!! Owner bought it as his dream car, but it's not as reliable as it should be. The Classic Corvette has a bad habit of STALLING when HOT, and not restarting until it's cooled down. The owner already replaced almost ALL of the Fuel Injection and Ignition components...but no luck. Here we go into the warm and fuzzy world of Early "OBD 1" Fuel Injection. Some basic scan data is available, but we need a 4-channel OSCILLOSCOPE to have any chance of catching the failure in the act. Hopefully this Classic Vette won't leave me STRANDED on a test drive!
