Trains at Tamworth, 14/02/2022 (1080p HD)

Tamworth is a key interchange station on the West Coast Main Line and Cross Country route, north east of Birmingham. It sees services by Avanti West Coast, London Northwestern Railway and CrossCountry. But Tamworth's greatest attraction is the amount of freight and interesting rare workings it receives, including Class 60s on fuel trains, Class 88s on high speed freight services to Scotland and the occasional light loco. This video was filmed on an otherwise unremarkable February afternoon, but the variety seen here was absolutely incredible, featuring the steam locomotive 6233 "Bahamas", both of Avanti West Coast's special-liveried Class 390s (Pride and COP26), plenty of freight and a Class 37. I was joined on this special trip by Joshua Platt, The Great Eastern Train Fan, Jack Allen Trainspotter and SimOnTrains. Do have a look at their channels too as they do upload highly recommendable content. So sit back, relax and enjoy 22 minutes of spotting at my favourite station for spotting in the UK! Enjoy the video! Times of filming: Approx 13:00 - 15:00 Camera: Panasonic HC-VX1EB
