45 Minutes of Trains at Birmingham New Street, 30/06/2025

Birmingham New Street is the busiest station in the United Kingdom outside of London. Being centrally located in the UK it is a focal point for many long-distance services including the West Coast Main Line and the Cross Country route. Services are operated by Avanti West Coast, West Midlands Trains (West Midlands Railway / London Northwestern Railway), CrossCountry and Transport for Wales. Birmingham's train scene has changed a lot in the past couple of years, with many local Birmingham services now being run by Class 730/0s instead of older Class 323 and Class 350 stock. The WCML variety has changed too with Avanti's Class 805s and LNWR's Class 730/2s among others being added to the mix. Having not visited Birmingham in four years, it was a surprise to see such a change in the rolling stock variety. So sit back, relax and enjoy 45 minutes of spotting from the busiest station in the Midlands! Times of filming: 10:20 - 12:30 approx. Camera: DJI Osmo Pocket
