RB’s Special shoes!

Come with me to visit the beautiful RB, a lovely horse who, unfortunately, has weak heels that are underrun. To help him, I’ve been fitting him with a straight bar shoe, and we’ve been seeing good success. However, I’ve decided to make a change from using a toe clip to a side clip shoe because his toe has been stretching a bit too far over the shoeing cycle and putting excessive load on his heels. In this session, we’ll swap him into a side clip shoe instead. I’ll explain and demonstrate the process of fitting and making a straight bar shoe specifically for his feet.
