Elvira Espejo es una tejedora de diversidad cultural | Fuerza Latina
Elvira Espejo studied Fine Arts and is the director of the Museum of Ethnography and Folklore in La Paz, Bolivia. An Aymara woman, her mission at the museum is to bridge the gap between the Eurocentric perspective and the wisdom of Bolivia's Indigenous communities. In addition to digitizing the museum's collection of thousands of pieces, she deepens her research by returning to the communities to give them a voice in the history of their culture.
