Josefina Jiménez: "Nuestro trabajo es arte" I Fuerza Latina DW
En la década del 90 muchos hombres emigraron de Teotitlán del Valle, Oaxaca, en busca de trabajo. Un grupo de mujeres lideradas por Josefina Jiménez formaron la cooperativa “Mujeres que tejen”. Con los telares de pedal, que hasta entonces solo los hijos varones heredaban de sus padres, comenzaron a empoderarse confeccionando y vendiendo tapices y alfombras dentro y fuera de México.
