BRIDGE mode is used in a two-channel power amp to create a single amplification channel, but with twice the power of the individual channels. This mode is used when we need to deliver the full power of the amp to a high-power speaker cabinet or subwoofer, as the new BRIDGE channel delivers the sum of the power of channel A plus the power of channel B. In BRIDGE mode, only one audio signal input channel is used, usually channel A, and there is only one amplification channel, whose positive and negative poles are taken from the two individual amplification channels: one pole from channel A and one from channel B. This is why it is called bridge mode, since we are bridging the two amplification channels. Finally, be careful with BRIDGE mode, as the speaker impedance connected to the amplifier must be twice the minimum impedance recommended by the manufacturer for the individual channels. For example, if the amplifier can handle a minimum impedance of 4 ohms per channel, in bridge mode, we should connect an 8-ohm speaker cabinet.
