CÓMO JUNTAR CAJAS DE ALTAVOCES UNA AL LADO DE OTRA - ARREGLO EN PARALELO vs DE UN PUNTO DE ORIGEN

Conventional systems or point-source cabinets for live sound are trapezoidal in shape, allowing for different types of arrays by angulating the cabinets horizontally. If the cabinets were rectangular, we could only place them straight in what is known as a parallel array, producing an undesirable off-axis comb filter (alternating boosts and attenuations). Thanks to the trapezoidal or pentagonal shape of the cabinets, we can create narrow and wide arrays from a single source point, which produce less interaction between the cabinets' coverage and, therefore, minimize the comb effect. Excerpt from the book THE LINE ARRAY, by the same author as the video, section 2.2, page 22, corresponding to point-source cabinet arrays.
