Takagi Marco G-IV Old Style Slit Lamp: slit width control refurb

The omni-directional G-IV slit width mechanism was improved from the reach-forward model so that aligning the knobs to coincide with the slit was simplified. This shows both models with the newer omni-directional model shown near the end of this video. The reach-forward model was a bit tricky to align the fully-closing and the fully-opening points with the knob travel. As always, slit control mechanisms are best lubricated with a thicker viscosity grease like #9 Haag-Streit grease. This was a very old slit lamp, refurbished to function at the Global Eye Project clinic in Haiti.
