#totnes #paignton #northampton 🏨 A Seaside Stay at Redcliffe Hotel | Weekend Vlog | Sat 22nd & Sun 23rd March (2025) 🚗 Saturday: We leave Northampton and head to Paignton, staying at the Redcliffe Hotel while we wait for the flat sale to complete. The hotel is right on the seafront, and the views are absolutely stunning! 🌊 Sunday: We take a stroll around Totnes, then return to the hotel for a lovely swim in the pool. I spend the afternoon doing some crochet while looking out over the sea—absolute perfection. 🌊 A Work Day with a View | Daily Vlog | Mon 24th March (2025) I find myself a perfect spot to work with a stunning sea view. Meanwhile, Glenn visits his friend in Babbacombe. After work, we pop into Torquay for a little wander, and I pick up a few bits for my mum. 🏠 Moving Day at Last! | Daily Vlog | Tues 25th March (2025) The day we’ve been waiting for—MOVING DAY! We finally pick up the keys, and the flat is every bit as perfect as we hoped. In the evening, we meet Paul, a lifelong Totnes resident, who shares what a special place this is. 📦 Overwhelmed by Moving Chaos | Daily Vlog | Wed 26th March (2025) Our first full day in the flat! I didn’t sleep well, my back hurts, and everything feels a bit overwhelming. We head to the storage unit to get the kitchen essentials—it’s hard work lugging everything back. The flat is full of stuff, and it feels like chaos. After a quick stroll down the high street (where I donate some items and search for a cutlery drawer and curtains), I crash on the sofa for a much-needed nap. I wake up feeling much better! 🚗 Leaving Already?! Back to Northampton | Daily Vlog | Thurs 27th March (2025) As much as we’d love to stay and settle in, we have to head back to Northampton to help with Mother’s Day weekend. A reluctant goodbye to the flat… but we’ll be back soon! 💐 Mother’s Day Prep & A Missed Filming Day | Daily Vlog | Fri 28th March (2025) It’s a busy day prepping flowers for Mother’s Day! I leave the camera with Glenn while I work, but he completely forgets to pick it up—oops! Deb works late into the night, and in the evening, we pop round to see Chloe. I won’t see her again until mid-May, so it’s lovely to catch up.
