Farming for the Future | Meadowsweet Farming Co.
Can beef be part of restoring nature? This short documentary follows Hannah, founder of Meadowsweet Farming Co. near Frome, Somerset, who is rethinking how food can be produced in partnership with the land. Through regenerative farming, her small herd of rare and native breed cattle help restore healthy soils, increase biodiversity and produce nutrient-dense, 100% pasture-fed beef. At Meadowsweet, every animal is known as an individual, grazing diverse meadows without synthetic chemicals while contributing to a healthier ecosystem. Hannah's approach demonstrates how farming can nourish both people and the landscapes we depend on. This film was produced in collaboration with The Nest, a non-profit creative agency and incubator supporting regenerative farmers and producers to build viable businesses, brands and market presence through storytelling, strategy and content. I contributed as a visual storyteller across multiple projects, helping bring stories like Hannah's to life through documentary filmmaking. If this story resonates with you, please consider sharing it with someone interested in regenerative agriculture, food systems and the future of farming.
