Epic motorcycle riding day! Toured both Back of the Dragon and The Snake on my Suzuki V-Strom 650 on Day 21 of my Ride Around America motorcycle adventure. Back of the Dragon is 438 curves in 32 miles and is one of the best motorcycle roads in Virginia. If you like twists and turns, this is the motorcycle ride for you! Linking Tazewell to Marion, the Back of the Dragon keeps you focused on the road while delivering thrills and excitement. The Snake, highway 421 between Bristol and Mountain City provides 489 curves in 33 miles and is one of the best motorcycle roads in Tennessee.
