伯備線のD51三重連～JNR Mikado Type D51 Triple Steam Freighter in Hakubi Line

Around 1970, after the Yon Santou era, famous photographic locations for the Japanese National Railways included the Niseko Express on the Hakodate Main Line, the 8620 triple-unit locomotive on the Hanawa Line, the large steam locomotives on the Kure Line, the Ohata Loop on the Hisatsu Line, and the triple-unit locomotive on the Hakubi Line. The triple-unit locomotives on the Hakubi Line were truly magnificent, and excited many people. However, their appearance only lasted for a brief moment, from the signal station to the tunnel, which may have led to the phenomenon of photos with the same composition circulating in the public eye. Now, half a century later, no new charms have been unearthed, and even though the myth has been told, it is gradually fading from people's memories. Now that the EF64 is about to be phased out of service, this video is an attempt to take another look at this triple-unit locomotive and share its appearance and appeal.
