Smothered Turkey Leg Challenge in Dallas, Texas on My 35th Birthday!!

After finishing my 2021 Midwest USA Food Challenge Tour, I took a 2 break break to rest and recover. Then I started a Texas & Southwest USA Tour which ended up including just 4 food challenges in Texas. For challenge #3 after my victory versus the "Waffenburger" Challenge at End Zone Sports Bar & Grill in Lake Highlands, Dallas, Texas, I headed near downtown Dallas, TX to become the first person to attempt and help kick off the new "Smothered to Death" Turkey Leg Challenge at Turkey Leg Paradise. This food challenge event occurred back on June 24th, and we were celebrating my 35th birthday!! I had 30 short minutes to feast on four of their smothered turkey legs. Each one had 12oz of toppings, and out of the many options I had to choose from, I ordered red beans & rice, broccoli cheese rice, spicy macaroni & cheese, and a 4-cheese Cajun pasta. All 4 tasted amazing, and also as part of the eating challenge, I had to finish 2 bottles of flavored Kool-Aid. I was trying to win my $75 turkey leg meal free plus a sweet t-shirt, a $50 gift card, and 1 gallon of Kool-Aid. They are known for serving delicious smothered turkey legs, and the slogan is that if the turkey doesn't fall right off the bone, it's free!! Corey has given very few turkey legs away!! For this "Smothered to Death" Turkey Leg Challenge, you must finish 4 smothered turkey legs within 30 minutes or less. You can order the same toppings on each, or get different toppings. My 4 topping options: red beans & rice, broccoli cheese rice, spicy macaroni & cheese, and a 4-cheese Cajun pasta. There were 12oz of toppings portioned on each of the 4 turkey legs. The food challenge also includes 2 bottles of Kool-Aid, with 5 flavor options to choose from. Winners get the $75 turkey leg meal free plus a sweet t-shirt, $50 gift card or certificate so you can come back and use it later, and you win a free gallon of Kool-Aid!!
