Florida’s Undefeated $150 "Bovine Bonanza" BBQ Challenge Has the Biggest Beef Ribs I’ve Ever Seen!!

American professional eater Randy Santel versus Pepper & Salt BBQ's massive and undefeated "Bovine Bonanza" Smoked Central-Texas-Style BBQ Beef Ribs Platter Challenge, hosted by Pepper & Salt BBQ in Vero Beach, FL on the Treasure Coast of Florida!! ‪@KatinaEatsKilos‬ and I started a 2-month long tour that mainly featured food challenges around Scandinavia and Finland. Before flying to Europe, we traveled down to the Treasure Coast of Florida to each attempt four (4) delicious restaurant food challenges that were set up by our friend Thomas Miller, aka The Treasure Coast Foodie. For initial competitive eating challenge #1 of four, we headed to Pepper & Salt BBQ in Vero Beach, Florida to attempt and help kick off their brand new "Bovine Bonanza" BBQ Beef Ribs Platter Challenge which was absolutely massive and featured lots of tasty items from their Central Texas style barbecue menu. There were three huge dinosaur-sized smoked beef ribs, which they actually refer to as "Dino-Ribs." The platter also included two beef sausage links (one regular and one spicy with jalapenos), and a 1/2 pound portion of Pepper & Salt's popular smoked beef brisket. There was a quadruple smash cheeseburger topped with onions and burger sauce, plus three sides of my choosing. I ordered their macaroni & cheese, coleslaw, and potato salad, which were each served in 8 fluid ounce containers, each weighing around 1 pound. The challenge included some banana pudding for dessert, and there is a one hour time limit (60 minutes) to finish everything. One person had tried and failed this challenge before I attempted it, so it was undefeated. I was trying to become just the first person to win my $150 barbeque feast free plus a sweet t-shirt and spot on Pepper & Salt BBQ's Wall of Fame.
