C4 and Bryan Nehman: MONSE Director Stefanie Mavronis highlights Baltimore’s crime reduction
The Baltimore Police Department reported that as of July 1, 2026, homicides were down 23.1% compared to last year and non-fatal shootings were down 2.5 %. A number of community and political outreach efforts are getting the credit. Stefanie Mavronis, director of the Mayor's Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement, spoke with WBAL's C4 and Bruce Elliott about the crime reduction.
