Halo Infinite Deep Dive | 3. Open World Blues

I have been waiting patiently to create part three of this deep dive into Halo Infinite, released on PC and Xbox by 343 Industries, because part three is where we move away from the missions featured in Master Chief's campaign and I get to talk about Halo Infinite's open world of Zeta Halo. This video covering Halo Infinite is on the whole is going to be perhaps a little less analytical than you may have become accustomed to compared to my previous Halo videos, but hopefully by the end of it you’ll understand better why I think Halo Infinite’s open world of Zeta Halo is, to be frank, pretty rubbish. In this video, I analyse everything from Halo Infinite's open world level design and gameplay to its story, setting and soundtrack, while also drawing comparisons to missions from other games in the Halo series including Halo Combat Evolved and Halo 2, as I try to explain why I think the open world of Zeta Halo is such a disappointment. If you enjoy the video, do consider subscribing, and thanks for watching! #Halo #HaloInfinite #343Industries Contents: 00:00 - Intro 00:25 - Love Letters To Halo 02:35 - An Exciting First Hour 04:41 - Lofty Expectations 06:03 - Simple Structure 09:26 - Campaign Issues 10:46 - Three Ways To Improve
