Day 6 of the road trip took me from Saskatoon to Edmonton, a seemingly boring drive interrupted by extreme wildfire smoke warnings! The haze was so thick that Edmonton's skyline was barely visible. As the capital of Alberta—the wild state of Canada—Edmonton was my pitstop to grab critical items for my Alaska road trip, including a tent insulator for sub-zero temperatures, Starlink internet, and more.
