Elizabeth & Jack/Lucas - Turning Page (When Calls The Heart)

The original song is copyrighted, so I mixed a live performance by Sleeping at Last with a beautiful strings cover by Artistrings. The mix's timing is a little off (my mixing skills are super limited 😅), so I would've loved to be able to post this video with the original song instead. I think the percussion and overall sound has a little more emotional depth. If you'd like to watch it with the original version, you can check it out here: https://vimeo.com/501186538 I listened to the song "Turning Page" and was inspired to create this video to help tell Elizabeth's story of healing and moving on from Jack's death. Jack inspired and supported her writing. Lucas & Elizabeth's friendship blossomed from their love of books and working on their library. This song not only builds on this theme of books and writing, but it also reflects Elizabeth's journey and her becoming ready to move on and turn the page to the next chapter of her life. Every kiss is a cursive line, every touch is a redefining phrase" "I surrender who I've been for who you are For nothing makes me stronger than your fragile heart" In this version, I included the last part of the lyrics to help build the emotion.
