Lucas & Elizabeth: Something Beautiful (When Calls the Heart)

Hearties! We've passed the halfway point of Season 8! I have always rooted for Elizabeth & Lucas. After these past few episodes, I am even more confident that this couple is meant to be together. Their relationship has had a slow and steady build from their spark-filled meet-cute outside the saloon, to their real and honest friendship, and now their deepening love. Watching their story unfold has brought me so much joy. I made this mid-season video edit with the hopes of sharing that joy with the hearties :-) TV Show: When Calls The Heart Couple: Elizabeth Thornton & Lucas Bouchard *As much as I wanted to balance the music and dialogue, I really did have a hard time mixing them. MUSIC: The song "The Next Ten Minutes", from the Off-Broadway musical "The Last Five Years", has a beautiful sweeping melody with a slow and steady build, much like L & E's relationship - taking it step by step. After the first verse, I switched up the music with "Something Beautiful" by Tim Halperin. I first heard this song a few weeks ago and it gave me a powerful feeling of excitement and hope. The lyrics are beautiful and I think they describe where E & L are in their relationship perfectly. It's truly the beginning of something beautiful. 1.
