In this Ask an Expert session, Learn about the SpineAlly app. SpineAlly is a dual-purpose mobile platform for people living with SCI. The first purpose is to provide people living with SCI with evidence-based educational materials, extensive support tools and a custom SCI chatbot to guide them in their individualized journey. The second purpose of SpineAlly is to facilitate the continuous and remote collection of health data, allowing researchers and people living with SCI to gain deeper insights into real-world health outcomes, while also reducing research participant burden, increasing remote participation from rural communities and supporting the development of novel technology and treatment strategies. About Dr. Kelly Larkin-Kaiser: Dr. Kelly Larkin-Kaiser is the Associate Director of the RESTORE Network and an Assistant Research Professor in Clinical Neurosciences at the University of Calgary. She holds a PhD in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology from the University of Florida and completed her postdoctoral training in Calgary.
