RideNow dropped Segway in Arizona, and suddenly a lot of Villain owners are wondering where to go for warranty repairs, service, parts, and expert support for our Villains. My friend Larry recently needed warranty work, which meant finding an authorized Segway dealer. We’re about 10 miles from the RideNow that has serviced our machines for the last two years, but they’re no longer a dealer. Segway Parts in Texas told us the nearest authorized dealer is now Outdoor Sports in Prescott. That’s more than 100 miles! I tagged along with Larry for his appointment, partly out of curiosity and partly because I wanted answers for myself and every Segway owner watching this channel. If I’m going to make that drive for service someday, I want to know exactly what kind of support they offer and whether it’s worth the drive. This service should wrap up Larry’s engine & clutch replacement saga. That will video will be coming soon & will include his experience at Outdoor Sports. While Larry checked in his Villain, I asked Shaun, the Sales Manager at Outdoor Sports, if he’d be willing to answer some questions on camera. He was happy to help.
