Orthodox Christian vs Latter-day Saint: Can We Find Common Ground?

Hey y’all, jump into a solid conversation between me and a good friend, CK, who I’ve spoken with before. We talk through why I worship the Latter-day Saint understanding of God rather than his, and we dig into whether the biblical text actually supports the trinity and I bring up the “deposit of faith” argument. It gets passionate at times, but it stays respectful — no name-calling, no cheap shots. I may show a little frustration when the burden of proof gets shifted around, but I'm growing in patience. My hope is that you’ll see that Latter-day Saints shouldn’t be dismissed simply for not conforming to what other Christians claim is required for salvation or theological correctness.
