Today we arrived on the Colombian Pacific coast, in the Chocó region, one of the most breathtaking and vibrant places I've visited in Colombia. Here I discovered a cuisine deeply connected to the jungle, the river, the sea, and Afro-Colombian roots. A cuisine where coconut appears in countless dishes, where rooftop herbs perfume everything, where spice has character, and where each recipe seems to tell a family story. But beyond the food, what touched me most was the people. On this trip, I arrived in a small town with few inhabitants, and from the very first moment, everyone opened their homes, their kitchens, and their stories to me. I ate in their homes, cooked with families, tasted flavors I'd never experienced before, and lived one of the most authentic experiences of my entire trip through Colombia. Hi!
