📜 In the early morning of May 19, 1940, the Ferté fort in the Ardennes fell silent. The 105 men who occupied it died in horrific and mysterious circumstances, 30 meters underground. ⚰️ 📌 This tragedy, which occurred at the beginning of World War II, remains shrouded in mystery. The fort, part of the Montmédy fortified sector, was then commanded by the young Lieutenant Bourguignon, who perished along with his men. 🔍 But how did this fort become the only one on the entire Maginot Line to be captured by the Germans? Why were these 105 men "sacrificed" for France? 🎥 In this video, we take you on a journey to discover the terrible story of this tragedy, as well as the chronology of events that led to it. 📝 The content in this documentary is the result of several weeks of work, as well as extensive research conducted over the years by the Villy-La Ferté Defenders Remembrance Committee. ⚠️ However, due to the absence of survivors, there can never be absolute truth about this tragedy.
