This time, we're taking a stroll around Futamatagawa Station, the most iconic station in Asahi Ward, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture. Originally a busy station where the Sotetsu Main Line and Izumino Line branched off, the station has attracted increasing attention with the opening of the Sotetsu-JR Direct Line and the planned opening of the Sotetsu-Tokyu Direct Line in March of this year. The south side of the station has seen a dramatic transformation in recent years, with the construction of commercial facilities and tower apartments.
