We thought we had it , holding deposit paid, hearts set, ready to sign then the landlord pulled out last minute, and just like that, our hopes were dashed. It was devastating, but we refused to stay down. Within days we were back on the hunt, found another place, paid another holding deposit, and this time? We signed the contract.
