Besides its taste, coffee is loved for its energy-boosting properties. The caffeine content in coffee is responsible for this. Caffeine is an alkaloid chemical compound that binds to adenosine receptors in nerve cells, stimulating adrenaline production. Most coffee connoisseurs know that their delicious coffee begins with the coffee bean. It's important to know that 60% of the coffee's flavor is influenced by where the coffee plant is grown and maintained, while the remaining 40% is influenced by post-harvest processing. One crucial post-harvest processing step is separating the coffee beans from the pulp. There are many different methods for separating the beans. There are five methods for separating the coffee beans from the pulp. In this video, we'll explore the Honey Process, a common practice in modern coffee factories.
