People STILL dive in this 100+ year old dive gear

I went to the Go Diving Show expecting to catch up with friends, give a talk about rays, and check out the latest dive gear... Instead, I stumbled across one of the most fascinating exhibits at the entire show. A huge thank you to Phil and Simon from the Historical Diving Society Australia–Pacific for so generously sharing your time, knowledge, and passion with me. I honestly had no idea people were still diving in these incredible historical helmets and surface-supplied diving systems today, and learning from you both was one of the highlights of my entire visit. If you'd like to learn more about historical diving or even get involved yourself, be sure to check out the Historical Diving Society Australia–Pacific: 🌐 (https://www.historicaldivingsociety.c...) A big thank you as well to the team behind the Go Diving Show for bringing Australia's diving community together each year. If you've never been, I highly recommend checking it out! And if you spotted my shyshark shirt in the video, you can grab one (along with a few other shark-inspired designs) from the FINstitute shop: 🦈 (https://www.thefinstitute.org/shop) If you enjoyed the video, I'd really appreciate it if you left a like, subscribed, and let me know in the comments: See you in the next adventure :)
