It was quite surprising, as it was beyond expectations, that the GMR-YK Supplementary Train, which usually carries two additional Imperial trains, suddenly brought the Panoramic trains, a route that had long been abandoned, as the Panoramic service typically focuses on the Jakarta-Bandung-Surabaya route via the southern route. Considering the significant price difference, I finally took the Panoramic from Cirebon to Yogyakarta to save half the fare. This was my first experience riding the latest generation of Panoramic trains, which I believe are significantly better than the previous generation, both visually and in terms of seating experience. For now, information on Panoramic class availability is only available around the Chinese New Year long weekend, so for those interested, especially since the Jakarta-Yogyakarta route is usually covered by Compartment, Luxury, and Priority services.
