Majestic - How to Draw This Zentangle Pattern by Jane Roberts CZT

In this video I'm drawing Majestic, a really beautiful and versatile Zentangle pattern created by CZT Jane Roberts. What makes this one particularly special to me is that Jane is actually a member of the Ivy's Corner Membership - so it's a real pleasure to be featuring her pattern as part of my 50-day Zentangle art challenge. Majestic was inspired by a floor pattern Jane spotted on a cruise ship, which she then deconstructed into this really satisfying tangle. It shares some DNA with patterns like Knightsbridge and Shattuck, but it's constructed differently and has its own distinct character - Jane describes it as a drama tangle, and I think that's exactly right. It has real visual impact without being complicated to draw. In this video I'm drawing Majestic in the round, growing outwards from a central point, which gives it a lovely radial quality and shows off the pattern's versatility really well.
