Well, what was supposed to be midday fishing in a pool, just casting to the fish that were rising, turned into walking upstream fishing in the water. Later, I switched to a spoon lure, as they were very inactive upstream. I only switched to a fly once, when I saw two trout in position. The one below was smaller (I didn't cast to it; it was scared). The one above was bigger and had already risen. Early June, high water and very cold upstream.
