Summary of the day: I timed my trip well for the pearlids to hatch, and I was right. I only wanted to fish the first pool I reached, but I think by the time I got there, it was already quite late, and it seemed like the hatch was slowing down, which it was. So I decided to fish further upstream and try to catch some big ones with the lure. Since they would be feeding on the pearlids. And that's how it was; very few small ones. The red lure didn't work well for me. Even though ecdyonurus were hatching, they must have been full of pearlids. As for the rest, what you saw in the video—I caught a few more, but I'm not including them to keep the video short. In the end, about 3 hours of fishing, and about a kilometer of river covered (many areas are so overgrown with weeds that fishing is impossible). It was a shame about two things that day: The wind was so strong that the pearls weren't floating properly and they weren't bouncing into the river.
