200tdi Low Power. Boost Pin Seized. Bosch VE Injector Pump Fault
How to release a seized boost pin. The boost pin in the 200tdi had seized due to water being sucked in through the vent at the back of the injector pump whilst wading. The corroded the governor/guide pin against the boost pin causing a lack of fuel when the turbo kicked in. In this video I show the steps I took to fault find the lack of power symptom I had with the car. Lack of power was the only symptom I had.
