Join me for a walk around the heart of one of the most popular tourist destinations in Cumbria's always-lively Lake District: Bowness-on-Windermere! Once a humble fishing village on the shores of Lake Windermere, England's largest lake, this small town has grown up to become a packed visitor hub, with heritage linked to a number of literary figures including Charles Dickens, William Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter!
