The flight between the South Korean island of Jeju and the capital Seoul has been the busiest air route in the world for over 10 consecutive years. In 2025, more than 14 million seats were available on this route. Jeju is an island with developed infrastructure and a subtropical climate. Tangerines are grown here year-round, there is a great variety of greenery, cute waterfront cafes and restaurants, as well as beautiful nature parks, caves, and museums. In the center of the island lies the highest point in South Korea — Hallasan volcano. Its elevation is 1,950 meters above sea level. This is our second visit to the island, and we rented bicycles for the weekend to ride part of the Jeju Fantasy Bike Path. It is a circular route around the island, 234 kilometers long. We will ride a shorter distance to see how our bodies react to the physical load.
