Successful wintering strategies for higher honey bee survival
I have had a 97% six year winter survival average with 100-300 colonies using these basic strategies. These methods work for overwintering honey bee colonies in our moderate Central Virginia winters. Beekeeping is very much an art so every hive is managed differently and I'm sure I brushed over important nuances.
